ISL GmbH has recently launched a new customer, commencing on August 5th, 2019, further expanding and diversifying the ISL portfolio and customer base with the renowned name of Nedschroef.
Nedschroef is a Netherlands based concern with production plants in over 13 countries producing special fasteners primarily for the supply to the automotive industry.
ISL operates the new business from the ISL Logistic Center in Saarwellingen, Saarland, and manages the complete finished goods for Nedschroef Beckingen GmbH and Nedschroef Fraulautern production plants.
The inter plant transport routes between the production plants and ISL Saarwellingen has been planned, developed and launched in-house by the ISL logistic team and includes the transport, receiving and storage into the Saarwellingen Logistic Center.
The customer Nedschroef provides instant electronic order requests for specific fastener orders from which the ISL team commission and re-packed based on the customers specific requirements and shipped to the individual customers.
As a result of the management and consolidation of the customers finished goods significant synergies have been achieved and cost reduction.
To achieve the high quality standards required and operational efficency ISL invested in a new high bay racking sytem. In addition all process steps performed by the qualified ISL team member’s are also guaranteed through various IT-Quality Proof Systems, minimizing potential errors and increased value for all parties involved.
