ISL takes over the just-in-time supply of raw materials for zf friedrichshafen ag – saarbruecken plant

Already in the last quarter of 2011, the ISL Group successfully incorporated the logistical part of the raw material supply for the ZF Transmission Plant in Saarbruecken, and has firmly established itself, in spite of the toughest competition against several international competitors.

The ISL Logistics Group is a recognized partner of the international automotive and supplier industry. Most diverse logistics services of ISL come to use with car manufacturers and leading systems suppliers. With its subsidiary ISL Innovative Logistics System GmbH, which specializes in industrial logistics, ISL manages a logistics center in Guedingen, in the immediate vicinity of the ZF Transmission Plant in Saarbrucken.

The steel supplier, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, delivers their materials directly to the ISL warehouse in Guedingen. From there, ISL supplies the pressing plant and the finish-blanking area around the clock, just-in-time, with up to 200 tons of steel coils per workday. ISL hopes to intensify the successful cooperation with ZF in the future.
