ISL INNOVATIVE SYSTEM LOGISTIK GMBH awarded contract from vw to supply the „glass-walled” manufacturing plant in dresden

The ISL system Innovative Logistics GmbH was awarded the contract at the beginning of the year, to provide logistical support to the “glass-walled” manufacturing plant in Dresden with vehicle components at its plant in Saarbrücken in 2013 for the car manufacturer Volkswagen to last over several years.

This means that Volkswagen is the second car manufacturer, besides Ford, who has commissioned ISL as acknowledged logistics provider.. With this project, the operation in Saarbrücken continues to gain importance for the ISL group. ISL now manages in Saarbrücken, a total of more than 10,000 sqm area with over 20 employees in 3-shift operation. Within one year we have been able to successfully concentrate several orders for a total of 3 clients at the site.

Due to the efficiency and the optimum location as well as good transport connections, the ISL management expects a further rapid business expansion in the state capital.
